We did give him Motrin before he went to bed (about 6:15). All went well, and I finally fell asleep about 9:30 (I had a case of acid reflux), only to be woken up by him screaming at 10:20. But just as suddenly he was quiet again, so I fell back to sleep, only to be woken up at 10:40 by him screeching again. 🙁
I managed to drag myself out of bed (I felt even worse now), gave him some teething tablets, then listened to him for another half hour or so, waiting to hear if his screeching got worse (or better), knowing I couldn’t give him any more Motrin until at least 2am. He finally fell asleep about 11:30, and did sleep through until 6:15 (yay!). Unfortunately, I still slept like crap the rest of the night—plus Tom’s alarm went off at 4am—so I am exhausted this morning.
