Sooooo Ivy just brought a baby rabbit into the house…in her teeth. It wasn’t quite dead…so Tom had to kill it. Katie was a mess. Poor Ivy, I’m sure, just thought it was a toy.
We went outside to look for more (just in case) and Tom found the nest (and another bunny). As he was moving it outside the fence (to be near where we saw the mama bunny), I almost stepped on this one hiding in the grass.

We relocated that one, too.

Time for a new thing — Every week I’m going to (try and remember to!) share one of my favorite things!
This week, it’s one of my favorite pairs of shoes—from a brand called NATIVE!

I initially had something similar but off-brand and the color started wearing off pretty quickly (and looked awful) so I decided to spend the money on these…and I couldn’t be happier! I had to look back this morning to see when I bought them—and it was November 2019!
✔️They are kinda like Crocs (material wise) but look more like regular shoes!
✔️They go through a machine wash well.
✔️They don’t have a ton of cushion but it’s enough to make my annoying feet somewhat happy.
✔️There are a ton of different styles and colors.
✔️I got mine directly from Native but you can get them tons of places (Native or Amazon being two).
These damn dogs whine every morning anywhere from 5-6am…so I have to get up and let them out. I hate it.
After maybe 10 or less minutes they come to sleep on me. I don’t hate it.

They didn’t even want to move when I got up.

Stacked!

We put in a pet door so the girls can go in and out as they please. Unfortunately one problem is that they sometimes come in with sticks…

Every morning been 5 and 5:30 is when the dogs start whining. I’m pretty sure it’s Ivy. But Which means that’s when my day starts… But I take advantage and chill on the couch with them as long as I can. Unfortunately this morning the housekeepers were coming at 8:30 so I didn’t get my usual cuddle time.

Have you ever been so tired in the morning that you almost feel drugged? And can barely keep your eyes open?! Well, that was me this morning. I was up at 5:30 with the dogs and usually I just stay up but today…I just couldn’t.
I faded in and out catnapping for a few hours…

But then woke up at noon after a serious napping situation! But it was SUCH a nice snuggle with the pups!
And if we didn’t watch her she’d be up on the table immediately.

And boy does it make all the difference!
I blame David. He started it.

And then Katie came home…

Omggggggg! I just took my scooter out for a neighborhood delivery! I forgot how fun it is—and how much strength it takes to balance!!

Today we turned their bed around and put the fire on.

And then she was spoiled in my lap while her sister was in the bed.

The sun is out so it’s at least not dreary. I can’t wait for the short sleeves weather.
P.S. I don’t recommend arriving early with the coach when it’s this cold. After three hours I was frozen.

We might have gotten them a La-Z-Boy dog couch at Costco because it was on clearance.

It’s snowing and rainy and 42° so of course it must be the first day of baseball! And as I write this it has started hailing.

And then it got even colder.

It’s mostly Ivy on top of Olive.

But sometimes it’s Olive on top of Ivy!
