Sooooo Ivy just brought a baby rabbit into the house…in her teeth. It wasn’t quite dead…so Tom had to kill it. Katie was a mess. Poor Ivy, I’m sure, just thought it was a toy.
We went outside to look for more (just in case) and Tom found the nest (and another bunny). As he was moving it outside the fence (to be near where we saw the mama bunny), I almost stepped on this one hiding in the grass.
We relocated that one, too.
OMG! I don’t know who I feel more sorry for! Do you remember when your cat did the same thing????? Brought a baby bunny to her litter to show them how to hunt. You sat on the steps with your hands on your chin and said “and bunnies are my favorite animal.”
I don’t remember the actual event but I remember the story!
