If I may toot my own horn just a little bit…these are the THREE awards I received during Seminar!

The first was at the dominion awards night (Friday). Technically I don’t belong to this group but the crown princess has adopted me. This is a separate event for just the ladies in the group. Since I’m adopted, my actual numbers don’t show up in her info, but she has a lot of adoptees in her group so she did a Top 10 of everyone…

I was #6 in total sales out of the 6,000+ distributors across the whole group.
The big awards were the next night in front of the entire seminar crowd! Certain awards have you walk across the stage…so had I been there, I’d have gotten to go up twice:

Significant SeneSeller means I sold a minimum of $1500 a month, each month, for the entire year.

Inner Circle Personal Volume is what I’ve sold during the year — and I was #67 out of all distributors in the United States!
And these are the ladies I’d have been standing with:

Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the past five years—whether you made a purchase, liked a post, left a review, talked about LipSense to a friend, helped me brainstorm, posted a selfie, watched a demo, or anything else! I couldn’t have done ANY of this without you!
And if you want to celebrate with me and get some freebies, I can hook you up this month!
The band boosters got these shirts for the kids! Can you see Owen?

As soon as I saw free tickets for Bon Jovi, I had to get them. I mean Bon Jovi WAS high school. And I know there’s been some stuff since then that I’ve liked. And I’m still trying to do more things outside my box.
But let me say right up front that even though this was a bucket list concert, I was not impressed. /cry
From now on, I’m checking the setlist FIRST. I only knew like 1/3 of the songs! And his voice wasn’t great—plus the sound system seemed off and it was like he was screaming to be heard over the music. And holy hell the people that want to stand for the whole damn thing (I know this argument can go on forever). Ughhhh. But then, maybe I’m just old and cranky. But to be honest it wasn’t just me. We all agreed.
Amazingly, the Eagles last week blew this concert out of the park. I guess they can’t all be winners.

So I knew I wanted to wear a red, so what better red than my fave no-longer-available Mojave?! Which then called for a slightly more subdued eye, so I went with more earth tones. And my shirt had to be #runsonlipstickandsarcasm!

This is what might happen if I’m in the middle of doing my hair when I get a phone call from the school nurse to come get Owen because he got hit in the face in gym. (He’s fine overall but just felt a bit “wonky” and wanted to come home.)
At least my makeup was done?

There’s definitely a difference between bathroom lighting and natural lighting. I actually don’t think my bathroom lighting is that bad—we replaced all the yucky yellowish bulbs with white—but there’s still a difference.

And then we have natural vs straight:

And then lastly, my full look for the day that totally surprised me and I’m totally in love with!
The new Limited Edition Tranquil Tides ShadowSense Collection has Tumbled Jade which initially scared me (because GREEN) but you guys, it’s sooooo good! Trust me. I’ll definitely be reaching for this again! And I opted for a neutral lip to leave all the attention on the eyes.

Today took an unexpected turn when I got an email that this book was due in two days and couldn’t be renewed and it was on hold for someone. So I vowed to finish it in time—and read the whole book in 24 hours like I used to do as a teen. I’m almost half done so I’m on track!
What was the last book you read? Friend me on Goodreads if you’d like!

So OBVIOUSLY both of their bedroom lights were still on when I went to bed.

The office is a nightmare and I’ve lost track of gift/prize organization so decided today was time. And I convinced Katie to help me.

Oh HELL no, dear Katie. Keep your crap contained to your own room!

We stopped in to check on the cats while Anna and David were camping…and we snagged Ash for a proof of life photo!

We might have been the youngest people here. Or close to it.
They were so, so good. They did THREE HOURS! We were up past our bedtime but it was worth it!

Tom started the install of my pull out drawers for the Tupperware cabinet on March 20. Unfortunately he wasn’t happy with how one drawer was sliding so said he’d fix it—so I left all the contents on the island. Fast forward a week and he tells me it’s fine and I can put everything away. Men!

And somehow we’re missing the bottoms to ALL of these since the kids last fixed the cabinet. Imagine that. Noone has any idea. So either they’re lying about what they did the last time or they’ve managed to lose 11 bottoms in two weeks.

Notes on my first month?
✔️ I can definitely feel my clothes loosening a bit so that’s exciting.
✔️I still haven’t taken measurements so that’s on my to do list.
✔️I haven’t been walking as much as I’d like since it’s been so cold.
✔️I am legit eating about 1/3 the amount of food I was eating before — but don’t worry, I’m definitely not starving myself. We honestly just don’t need that much food to survive.
✔️I have only had that one shot of tequila about two weeks ago — and no other alcohol. For a month. That hasn’t happened since pre-pandemic times.
✔️The only sugar I’ve really had was a bit of brown sugar on a dessert pizza (with pancetta), syrup on half of a homemade waffle, and a tiny nibble of a pseudo-Crumbl sugar cookie.
I really think I can do it this time. All my other attempts failed after 2-3 weeks.

I got this for him and I vaguely remember it but no clue how it came about.
If you don’t know, it’s Jonathan Frakes (Commander William Riker from Star Trek: The Next Generation).
Proof you can get just about anything on Amazon.

It is with great sadness that I tell you my dad passed away (somewhat unexpectedly) earlier this morning. He and Lin were in Florida for the winter so plans will likely be to have a celebration of life this summer in the U.P.

I debated doing everything from absolutely nothing to a completely full face and ended up in the middle with CCTM, brows, blush, and a very light eye look (skipping mascara).
Wish me luck!

And a few hours later, done! Easy peasy!

And the results?
Based on the size and number of polyps you had, the current guideline recommendation for follow up exam to evaluate your colon for polyps is 10 years.

It wasn’t too bad going down…but I didn’t like the aftertaste so I also had my first “meal”of the day.

As my bestie Anna said when she found this at our local consignment shop—this is the most Jen shirt to have ever Jenned.

We used what we had on hand: butter, brown sugar, and caramelized pancetta with a maple syrup drizzle.

Oh. My. Gawd.
I promised you the tips my friend shared while helping me with this look, so here they are!

1️⃣ Add a highlight color under brows and blend into main colors.
My first instinct was Sandstone Pearl Shimmer but to be honest, I need a new one and just haven’t thrown away the tube yet…so I grabbed my next favorite Limited Edition Champagne Shimmer.
2️⃣ If the shadows have already dried too much to easily blend, spray your brush with the Hydrating Facial Serum Mist!
I was unsure but it worked! It was just the right amount of moisture to let me blend without ruining the look.
3️⃣ Add more highlight on inside corners and part of lid.
I already had Wind Shimmer on the inner corners so I just brought it in a bit farther onto the lid (don’t go past your pupil).
4️⃣ Add a bit of highlight to the very middle of the lips with a glitter (LipSense or ShadowSense).
If I had wanted a hint of gold, I would have used Chocolate Copper LipSense, but for a hint of silver I opted for Glacier Glitter (but you could use Silver Shimmer).
