Today was Field Day at Owen’s school. I never heard about Field Day until I saw random friends posting on Facebook about their kids’ field days…so figured it must be a new thing since I was in school back in the stone ages. They play organized games (like carry the egg on a spoon) and run around and then eat lunch outside.
Unfortunately it had been rescheduled from being rained out Friday so he missed most of it due to his GI appointment…but he still had fun.

Each class wore a different color and Owen’s class (the Tigers) were green.
He said he had a lot of fun and it was funny because Miss Ashley (his teacher) served them lunch. (Apparently this isn’t a normal event.) š
