So I get up for a middle-of-the-night feeding, and he scarfs down like 5 ounces and he’s out. OUT.
I still attempt burping, for up to 10 minutes sometimes, and even burp standing up and jiggling a little in hopes of getting a burp so I can put him down.
But I get nothing.
So I figure he’s out for the count—and I gently lay him in the crib. And before I can even step back from the crib—like within 5 seconds—he has spit up!
EGADS.
So then I have to start the process over, because he’s now awake again.
