This economic stimulus thing irritates me.
We thought we were getting $1200 back (married filing jointly, we fit all the parameters) but we only got $600.
We should be thrilled to have just received $600 in “free money” but instead I am pissed because we only got half of what we expected. And now I have to waste time trying to find/use the “stimulus calculator” to see if we really should be getting the full $1200 back…but I have to wait until I have our 2007 taxes to reference some specific lines (it might have something to do with the net income tax liability—which I have NO idea what that actually is).

Okay, the net income tax liability bit us in the ass. 🙄 Apparently, due tom Tom’s deployment and non-taxable income…we only get $300 per person since we didn’t pay as much taxes. Or something like that.
But we still got free money, so I guess it’s all good.
