Ugh, the washer is apparently broken as we have puddles of water in the laundry room. It has been slowly leaking, so we’ve been avoiding it.
Yes, a bad thing to do as a homeowner. |-|
So Tom googled and discovered that it’s most likely just a clogged pump, which he can get to by taking the front cover off (instead of having to detach the 200# dryer and empty the entire laundry room in order to tip over the washer to look at hoses).
After digging out our appliance manuals, finding the model number, going to the Frigidaire site and downloading the parts manual…we googled replacement parts for washers, found two sites, and ordered it!
Thank goodness it was only $40, phew! And thank goodness I have a handy hubby!
Oh, and it was an underwire that made it down into the trap and wore a hole in the rubber. Oops!
