You don’t even have to pay me, just let me legally stop and write tickets to stupid drivers! I have been saying this for years—practically since I started driving.
I don’t want to be a cop by any stretch of the imagination, but please please PLEASE just give me the ability to pull over stupid drivers and ticket them for the things they do. I would get SUCH job satisfaction for that!!
Why does this come up this morning? Well, some idiot in my neighborhood totally blew his stop sign, causing me to slam on the brakes to miss him (god forbid he have to wait two seconds until I’m past him to pull out behind me)—then not 200 yards later, heading out of the subdivision, he blew that stop sign as well! (Now, I’m all about the rolling stop when no one is around and it’s completely dead—but he didn’t even attempt a rolling stop!)
So not a way to start my work week.>:(
