Four people, four different ghosts! Mine is the tall one on the right! It was the first time any of us felted!

A few of us moms went to see a comedian at our local theater. It was a fun night out!
Admittedly I bitched a lot beforehand about Anna making us go to Lightscape (I’m turning into a major homebody as I get older!)…but it ended up to be super cool and I have apologized.
It had been waaay too long since we’d all been together so we went out for brunch!
Kim was the only neighborhood mom available for (leftover party) Bellinis this morning!
One of our local Facebook forums (Gurnee Moms) had an event at our favorite restaurant —so most of our group went!
They had a professional photographer and of course I was ahead of the group heading inside to grab a table for dinner (they had appetizers but not nearly enough for the number of people) so I missed being in the group pic.
Our friend Kim gave Katie this dress she wore to Homecoming in eighth grade. Of course she had to put it on right away and add the boots!
Kim had stopped by with her boys to see if Katie wanted to go get ice cream with them (her oldest, Tommy, a first grader, has a crush on Katie and wanted to ask her). Katie had a friend over so Kim said she’d just go pick up some ice cream for everyone. So everyone enjoyed some ice cream on the porch!
Her youngest (and my birthday twin) was just living his best life!
Since we’re all fully vaccinated, some of our mom’s group met for lunch out today! We had a great time! I love these ladies!
All of us moms have been fully vaccinated so decided a Cinco de Mayo get together was called for!
It was SOOOOOO great to feel somewhat back to normal!
Kim and I took Katie on our walk today and gave her some practice being a mother’s helper.
Long story short, a neighbor friend and I decided to switch beds. She had a Queen that due to previous circumstances had been cut into but was still good (but you couldn’t really sell it) and we had been talking about getting Owen a new bed…so we agreed to trade and she took his bed and headboard for her youngest!
We borrowed another neighbor’s truck and moved everything Clampett-style around the corner (they’re on a different street but only like 12 houses away).
I missed the pic of taking Owen’s old twin bed to their house but it was similarly precarious.
Owen had to help a little.
And both kids enjoying hanging out on it that night.
Kim Ho Ho Ho’ed everyone today with treats and a #momsquad wine glass for our Secret Santa exchange…
We had a great time but can’t wait to see each other in person again…
But this time we know it was one of our neighborhood mom group… And this isn’t my basket but someone else’s because my kids tore into ours so fast I couldn’t get a picture. At least they handed me the wine.
Day one remote learning done. Day one margaritas happened. I thought I’d share the wealth.
