Just going through some old photos and I’m gobsmacked at the difference in my eyes and my lashes!
Honestly this lip color isn’t one of my go-tos and I think it’s a bit more of a spring or summer color but I grabbed it this morning anyway and frankly I’m kinda loving it. You just never know. Tastes change. Lip colors look different with different clothes and different color makeup. So today I’m totally rocking it!! The blue sweater doesn’t hurt either!!
I typically use a mini binder clip but it’s gone missing in the move. You might think I’m being cheap but really I just don’t want to waste a single bit of this “liquid gold”—it’s legit the best balm I’ve ever used. I will even cut it open once I can’t squeeze any more out! No shame in my game, y’all! (Grab yourself some here from my site, or just hit me up! You won’t be sorry!)
I love it when a random clothing purchase (the gorgeous tank top I got in my favorite online boutique) just happens to match one of my favorite Lularoe cardigans. ❤️ I’m also legit stuffed into a pair of jeans today for the first time in two or so weeks just to see if I could. They’re not super comfy but I can still button and zip them so I’m calling it a win.
I swear. Most mornings I say “I’m just going to put some CCTM on!” And then, well, I have to do my brows. And really, shadow just takes like a minute or two. And since I have the darker shadow out I’ll just use that for a quick blush. And now that pretty much my whole face is done, I have to do my lashes and I HAVE to use Primer. But I drew the line today at LipSense and just did gloss!
This means I’ve sold $12,000+ in the current quarter (October-December)! I still can’t believe it! Of course I don’t anticipate this being a regular thing, but it is a great accomplishment and I’m super proud!
FYI this is what an order looks like when it’s been building for three months! Kristin lives in New Zealand and consolidates her orders for shipment to a stateside relative’s house! This goes all the way back to my birthday party month!!
I just want to thank everyone who shopped with me this month. I am so very thankful for each and every one of you! When you make a purchase with my SMALL business, it means a lot for my family! And I love spoiling all of my customers, too…giving gifts is my love language.

Check. This. Out. Look at my skin over two years.
This is using the skincare every. single. day. I didn’t use everything every single day but I did use the cleanser, daytime moisturizer, and evening moisturizer for sure. (I know the lighting is a little different but even so you can see how much it’s changed.)
I am just gobsmacked.
I know two years is a long time but you have to start with Day 1 at some time, so why not now?
My skin feels totally pampered after steaming, masking, showering, then layering on all the daily goodness (plus Nangai) and rolling (using my Jade roller from the SeneGence stress free gift set).
Happy Sunday, all!
Yep, I have to work at the table and babysit this kiddo since she’s not been in class as much as she should be. It’s a good thing I can pretty much work from anywhere.
I thought about surprising Tom with an actual half and half green and white face but opted for a more subtle green look with a color I haven’t tried before—Mystic Moss. I think it came out pretty good!
I used to laugh when I saw women on TV shows or movies doing any kind of bedtime skincare routine because I was like “WHO REALLY DOES THAT?! It’s just faked for TV!”
Well. Time changes things and I’m now that woman. Plus I do a lot more then TV or movies ever show (because frankly it’s not that exciting 😂). I mean, here’s my nighttime ritual in just 15 quick pics. 😂
And no, it doesn’t take forever. I took the first pic at 9:31 and the last pic at 9:42 – but it will take you MUCH less time if you’re not stopping to take pics! 😂
But even if it did take 11 minutes a night it’s worth it for how much my skin has changed and how happy I am with it. And especially because I don’t think I look—gasp—47!
What’s your evening skincare routine?
When your husband is out playing poker with the boys, you invite your bestie over to play in makeup. (I am sure the kids are still alive downstairs somewhere.) And then since we had our make up freshly done at 8 o’clock we went out to Marshalls.
I’m an open book with you guys. The first pic is how I feel today—I slept like crap and my back really hurts. And I opted for no makeup and no product in my hair. And that’s what I saw when I opened my camera. Ewww. But if you angle the camera differently and smile… It’s an entirely different look. If you don’t like your look or your mood, change your perspective!!
So today we did a thing. Britt is a busy mom of two littles and came to me bare-faced hating her skin…and left with such a HUGE smile on her face and LOVING her new easy look in colors she never would have picked. New to her? Pink shadow. Darker pink lips. Filled in brows. It was so exciting watching her discover how great she looked in these products and the awe she experienced looking at herself. And she was amazed how great they worked compared to her $$$ products.
P.S. I kinda hate how amazing her lashes look and I will now be attempting to apply my own mascara exactly like she did because wowza.
P.P.S. Yes we forgot a before photo. 😣
On the left? Age 43, one of my first LipSense photos from 2017 before using makeup or skincare. On the right? This week, age 47+ a few days, after two years of skincare and makeup.
How am I 47? Seriously. But I look good so I’m okay with it.
I didn’t do too much today—I was wrapping up my month-long Living Lippy party and I went to Kohl’s and Aldi ( do I know how to live it up or what?) then Anna and David came over for a drink after dinner.
I wanted to try a bit different eye look so I decided to try and copy this look my friend Joyanne did.
I mean I did the same color scheme but I don’t think it looks anything like the original. But I can admit that it turned out okay!
My totally changed look!
I did this look live for my group to show them that eye shadow colors that look scary in the tube look normal when applied!
Your friend’s business is not an MLM or a pyramid scheme. It’s network marketing.
N E T W O R K M A R K E T I N G is a distribution model. A company has to move its product into the market and it can either be done through massive retail stores like Walmart, Amazon, Target, Ulta, or Sephora—OR you can do it through an independent network of entrepreneurs who actually get paid to sell the product to their networks. Whether that be friends and family or people that they go out and meet.
What’s awesome about that is it’s a way for people like ME to make money by moving the products into the market rather than the big box stores that make all the money traditionally. It’s an opportunity for the “little guy” (me!) to make money by moving those products into the market.
It’s really that simple, and I love this model because I am in charge of my own success! And I love spoiling my clients! And I love supporting my friends when I can!!
I kinda hate to take it off but it’s bedtime!
It looks much more artsy in black and white.
POST-DEMO LOOK! Phew. I love it. But that’s a lot of products I had to get on there.

I swore up and down this was Normal to Dry. I mean, I looked at it multiple times over a good few minutes. But the light was pretty low and I cannot see up close (with my contacts in) and if I held it far enough away where I should be able to see it, it was too small. And be honest, it does kinda look like Dry from a distance. I was actually on hold with customer service to tell them they sent me the wrong thing…when I finally realized it. 🤦🏻♀️ I need to schedule that eye appointment tomorrow. 😂
