Katie learned how to zoom up stairs today at play group!
And this was about an hour before, after we first arrived at play group…Katie was being majorly loved on by both daughters of the host. 🙂
And this was shortly before leaving… New bows! I didn’t really want to start them this early, but damn if she isn’t adorable in them!
These were in the Easter stuff Grannie and Papa sent. He LOVED them.

I just started asking him what else an empty tube could be…and he really impressed me with ideas!
And then my phone cut off and stopped recording because I was out of space. So not to leave you hanging, he was saying Diego Legos.

Owen begged to get his tunnel out today (it had been hidden behind a chair that we moved). He still loves it…and Katie now does as well!
The best part of my day was watching the two of them play together…

Of course, I have 58 attempted shots of them laughing and playing together—but with one looking away or hands in the way or legs in the way. 🙂 Here’s a video of all of them…
I did get these next two, though, which I thought would look good combined…
So I googled and discovered that Microsoft Live (already on mom’s laptop!) has a feature called Photo Fuse which will let you mix and match heads from photos…so I created this picture!

It’s official—she crawls more than scoots now.
Katie has started pulling herself up onto the steps and up on her basket of toys…
…so I figured it was time to lower her crib (because of course I imagined the worst—I could just see her pulling herself up on the side and toppling right over).
She needs to stop growing right now. 🙁
Just four steps…she still is much better (and faster) at scooting!
Owen has a great stance, throwing arm, running game, and blocking technique…and can catch quite a bit of the time. It’s actually impressive for a four year old.
Katie was very intrigued by Papa’s apple…first enjoying just nomming on the whole apple:
Then the actual apple itself—grinding those two little teeth and scraping off tiny bits of apple. She LOVED it!

Owen was hitting everything with his hammer when he discovered the pots and pans…
After practically DRAGGING Owen outside, he had a BALL (no pun intended) with Papa playing soccer and practicing catching the ball!
He kicked it under the car and said “SCORE!!” 🙂
