We took Owen mini golfing for the first time today! He’s unbelievably smart in some areas, but apparently just CANNOT grasp how to hold the putter. It’s hilarious and frustrating at the same time.

Thing 1 & Thing 2
Gramma Jean came home today with these shirts for the kids…
Of course, I have 58 attempted shots of them laughing and playing together—but with one looking away or hands in the way or legs in the way. 🙂 Here’s a video of all of them…
I did get these next two, though, which I thought would look good combined…
So I googled and discovered that Microsoft Live (already on mom’s laptop!) has a feature called Photo Fuse which will let you mix and match heads from photos…so I created this picture!
And then when we left them to their own devices…
And then Katie decided she should check out a sleeping daddy…

Look at my new teeth!
Katie wants monkeys!
Daddy’s here!

Lobster grilled cheese? Yes, please!
I highly recommend this sandwich from The Grilled Cheese & Crab Cake Co. that mom and David brought back for me today!
I also found this magazine article about the restaurant.
Brrrrrrrr!
Since the weather has been unseasonably cool and we didn’t exactly plan for that, Gramma Jean bought herself a new hoodie…and got one for Owen, too!
He was UNBELIEVABLY excited about it and was tearing around like a mad man. He HAD to have the hood up—and he told gramma she had to have hers up as well.

Condo or cruise ship?
Where’s daddy?
Tom had to go back home today while we extended our stay with the grandparents. Of course, all afternoon Owen has been asking where daddy is (he knows he’s at home) and repeating how many “big sleeps” it will be until he comes back (four). But tonight he just looked so dejected as he said:
Where’s daddy? He needs me.
🙁
I want the iPad, too!
GJ & Katie
Robot legs as guns. Of course.
Cousins!
Almost but not quite.
Katie’s first beach!
Margaritas, anyone?
When we were in Florida last month I discovered the Kirkland brand margaritas at Costco—holy cow were they good. I wondered why we hadn’t seen them at our Costco… Oh yeah, that’s right, you can only get liquor and liquor-based drinks at ABC stores…which Costco is not. So, I checked South Carolina (since I’d be heading there to visit my mom and David in about a month) and by golly, they carried it. Hot damn! I told my friends that I’d probably buy about 10 of them…and I’m not sure they believed me.
Fast forward a month, and…
