Baseball season has begun!

Tom is a Head Coach this year and loving it—he’s always wanted to coach and now he’s getting the chance. He already knows most of the kids on the team since they’ve been on previous teams.

Owen’s first at bat got him on base! His second got a hit but it was a pop fly that got caught. He was part of a few double plays. He had three RBIs and we won 8-6!

And this was what Katie spent lots of time doing:

I matched my eye colors to my shirt!

My mom, stepdad, me, and the kids are headed to Chicago today to check out the National Ukrainian Museum (we are part Ukrainian) so I felt I needed to wear something more than my typical Saturday garb of yoga pants and a hoodie.

I matched my eye colors to my shirt—two limited edition colors, Seafoam Shimmer (sadly, no longer available) and Sapphire Shimmer (happily, still available)! Not everyday colors but they definitely work with this!

I’m speechless.

This month has been my SeneVersary month (four years!) and I always have a big party in my group…and this year it got insane. INSANE. I couldn’t believe the amount of sales I was getting! And they kept coming.

And then at about 9:30 tonight I realized I was literally $91 away from a super crazy super stretch goal. So I never ask for help…but I did tonight. And three of my friends/clients jumped in to help…so…

SUPER DUPER STRETCH GOAL ACHIEVED: $8,000

Keep in mind that a normal month for me—my normal goal—is $1500. And a stretch goal is $2000. And I worry every month about making those goals—JUST like I did at the start of this month—so to hit $8,000 is simply unheard of. I’m still stunned.

I love my customers.

Oh just getting some corporate awards for personal sales volume. No bigs.

Have you ever found yourself doing something you absolutely love, but never imagined yourself doing?! I’m the poster child for this!

I had so much fun tonight watching my friends earn incredible awards for their businesses! And I also may or may not have felt a little jolt when my name hit the big screen each time. Out of around 1500 men and women, I was recognized for being #300 in the USA and #276 in the World for personal sales! Doing some math, that’s the top 20%!

I absolutely couldn’t do it without my amazing customers that have followed me and supported the past four years… and I look forward to many more years!

At least Tom and I take turns.

Getting old sucks. I woke up this morning with a familiar twinge in my lower back which told me I’d have to be careful or it would go out on me. So I was careful. I squatted at the knees, didn’t bend over, did my stretches. I sat at my desk, walked around Costco with Anna, and then we went on a walk. I felt fine. Then guess what happened midway through my walk? ZING! My back went out. I managed to make it back and drive home but now I’m sacked out on ice on the couch with Maggie. I took whatever drugs Tom gave me and crossed my fingers—we have another appointment today at 4 (not for my back) and I hope I can make it.

We each went to Costco for thing.

Anna and I joked upon walking in that we were here to spend $200 on stuff we didn’t need. Because, you know, that’s what happens.

We each got a cart because we’ve learned and by the time we got to the end, this is what both our carts looked like.

The freaky thing? Our totals were only $10 difference and we had totally different stuff in our carts! We joked that we really are the same person!

This is why Katie exhausts us.

So I told the kids they could watch a movie. They always have drama when picking one. So I told Katie to pick a bunch she wanted to see and then Owen would pick the one. Fine. Easy. Right?

Hahahaha. HAHAHAHA.

She reads her choices and Owen picks one. And Katie immediately says she doesn’t really want to watch that one.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? So then Owen is annoyed at her and she’s annoyed because she has to watch a movie she said she wanted but then changed her mind about 60 seconds later??

So they’re both saying “FINE WHATEVER” to each other and I told Katie all this was unnecessary drama because she picked the movies and now she wanted to change things.

I just don’t have the energy for this.
