Some of the dads went on a fishing trip in Wisconsin!

Tom’s offering was Bloody Marys with huuuuge skewers of meat, cheese, veg, and pretzel bites!

Tom didn’t take many pics so these are from others!

I’ve just about had it with the pantry being a hot mess so I requested Tom start on the shelves. A few days later —voilá!
I still have to organize it more and the other cabinets need to be done, but…YAY!

I brought Owen to the pool and not Katie because she was a complete shit earlier and she needs to learn that bad behavior is not rewarded. #momballs as Anna says.

Also? Anytime my preteen wants to jump in a selfie with me I’m taking it.

Tom was out fishing with the dads and I envisioned a relaxing morning watching movies with the kids. Ha. Hahahahahahah.
Instead I spent the entire morning cleaning up dog pee…Maggie peed through Katie’s comforter and sheets and thankfully we have Waterproof mattress protectors otherwise the mattress would have been done for.

She also peed outside our door. And had peed earlier this week that I didn’t get out the Rug Doctor for. The worst part is she also got Charlie’s cat bed so that needs to be washed and Katie is so angry that the bed will no longer smell like Charlie.
Since I had to clean all that l just cleaned the whole upstairs hallway plus half of our bedroom (lots of cat hairball vomit stains). And I needed to do the entrance to each kids room because it’s just filthy. I showed them the gray water so they can hopefully understand.
Oh, and anyone want to guess just how many colors I found on Katie’s carpet once she picked up all her crap so I could clean the pee?! I swear I’m about to rip the carpet out and just leave her with wood floors.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I love lazy mornings. But I do have to get up and ready for a baseball game. But can we just take a second and look at my skin.
Do your kids leave your apology (and sometimes love) notes outside your room?

We’re working on Owen’s acne…so he’s using SeneGence products plus salon facials. Yes, he’s getting spoiled.

I’m stunned. I was excited to reach Ruby SeneSales the last two quarters… And this quarter I realized I might be able to make the next level…so I went for it! And did it!!

I’ve been busy this morning! Elizabeth came over to test some lip/shadow colors and powders before she moves away! Better to figure out your wishlist in person! Plus she was able to pick up her order and get ALLLLLLLLLL of the bonus gifts with purchase!
Safe travels! Gonna miss you, friend!

Our friend Kim gave Katie this dress she wore to Homecoming in eighth grade. Of course she had to put it on right away and add the boots!

Finding ice cream wrappers under the sink in the basement bathroom.

Our first (of hopefully many!) vacations together really couldn’t have gone much better! Lots of laughs, relaxation, drinks, excellent food, shopping, outdoor stuff, and tons of memories…with only a few kid squabbles. It was over way too soon for sure. Thanks to my dad and stepmom for hosting our motley crew! Can’t wait to do it again!

The kids wanted to go back to the nearby roadside park to climb the rocks again so Anna took them…and got some great pics!

These two really don’t get along at home —Honey is just too young and wants to play hard all the time and Maggie is just too old and wants none of it. So we generally try to keep them separated so Honey doesn’t accidentally hurt Maggie… but today they were both tired so I put Maggie on top of/next to Honey and Honey stayed calm and they were totally nap buddies!

Thankfully David and Anna let us put them in their RV to take home so we could keep them full length!

So on our souvenir shopping trip (while the men and kids were fishing)…of course we both picked up the same sale jacket unbeknownst to each other until checkout.

Anna and I went shopping in Copper Harbor and while she ran back into a store I looked down and saw my odometer said 9999.9 and I was suuuuuper excited that I caught it! So I was taking pics of it so I’d remember where we were… And then realized that that was the TRIP odometer and the actual odometer was already past 10,000. Lordy.

The boys were having a blast!

So Katie decided she wanted to go, too. And it started with super big happy smiles…and very quickly devolved into extreme pouting as she realized it was too windy and wasn’t as easy as she wanted. Ahhh vacation.

And this might be my fave photo from the whole trip… Happy boy.
