She got dumped out of a blanket at bedtime…

Owen was at a sleepover and Anna sent us this pic.

So we got an early Christmas present for us…an Ooni pizza oven (we’d casually talked about it before but then after talking with Jim and Beth over Thanksgiving, our interest was renewed).
Tonight was the inaugural dinner with David and Anna (and kids) as guinea pigs. Initial setup was on the deck but torrential rain moved it to the garage.

And it was absolutely amazing! I foresee a lot of pizza in our future…
Going on two hours of this glorious doggo cuddle. Tom and I were catching up on Survivor and CSI Las Vegas and she stayed like this the entire time…plus more!

So I’m gonna toot my own horn for a hot second.
This past November turned out to be my best month ever since I started this “side gig” almost five years ago…and I made the Top 5 leaderboard out of thousands of people in my group!

Technically I didn’t have that amount of sales — they can only see what I purchased — but that’s how they track things. But it was still my highest sales month ever, coming in at $9,272! (My previous highest month was April of this year during my SeneVersary month with $8,114.)
I can’t thank my amazing clients enough as they’re the ones who helped me get here—but I’m obviously doing something right since they keep coming back! I never thought I’d be doing this but here we are!
This was the first in-person band concert since March 2019!

Went on a hunt for Maggie. Overlooked her a few times.

She recovered pretty quickly. Thankfully it wasn’t super cold.

For the most part I have always replaced regular decorations with holiday—like normal everyday things on shelves/walls got replaced with wrapped boxes/kids artwork. Candles and candlesticks got put away and replaced with reindeer and small trees.
But this year I’m rethinking.
Maybe it’s because we JUST finished redecorating the living room (and there’s lots more stuff now).
Or maybe it’s because we’ve only had one Christmas here and I just don’t have a set place for everything.
Or maybe it’s just because I’m exhausted.
Or maybe it’s because I forgot I bought a lot of clearance stuff last year.
Or maybe it’s because I usually end up doing 85% of it by myself…

What timing. I randomly made this graphic this morning…and then went to the salon to get my eyebrows done…and she commented that she loves the silver streaks in my hair! She said not to touch them because they look great!

We’ve wanted to stop at the Albanese outlet many times but we always had Maggie with us and it was too hot or cold to leave her in the car. So we stopped today! They have our favorite gummi bears!
IT was quite crowded so I didn’t take pics — but here’s one I found online that gives you an idea! This is about half of it! And so much more than gummi bears!!

Our faves might be the Goof Ups Gummi Worms!

Installing two Toto toilets for Gramma!

Y’all know I love me some Amazon…but big box stores will not care about you the way small business owners will because, unfortunately, you don’t mean that much to them.
Spending $100 at a large retail or department store during the holidays won’t make much difference to anyone—but spending $100 through a home business or small local business owner for the holidays means OUR business CAN continue! It gives us our pay, provides for our families, and helps us continue to do what we love without using harsh sales techniques.
You mean the world to us and in return we’ll treat you like gold! Just ask my clients who got $700+ worth of bonuses so far this month!!
Shop a home/direct sales/small local business for the holidays this year!! Tom and I just spent a few hundred at local Grayling businesses (h/t to Tip’n the Mitten). And silly me, I didn’t take a pic of our haul…but there was a bit of locally brewed beer, cider, and wine!

All of the googly eyes make this delicious appetizer tablescape perfect.

Katie has had a loose tooth for quite some time. Of course, it became critical an hour after bedtime at gramma’s.
It was hanging by the tiniest string and of course she refused to pull it or to let us pull it. She wanted us to try and cut it (like David did with another of her loose teeth recently) so Tom was prepared…

But he ended up just pulling it out!

Anna and David are watching Maggie while we go to Michigan for Thanksgiving. Anna sent me this pic of the boys as soon as they got up.

And then at bedtime, in Anna and David’s bed.

And a throwback:
