I’m in a lounge chair getting ready to start reading for the day. It’s 71° and slightly overcast — in other words, my perfect day.
Being a Michigander I had to read this. It felt a little slow at first but by the time I was midway through I was into it and ended up enjoying it.

I guess it’s been a hot second since I’ve taken a tumble and hurt BOTH my ankles… I was walking home from watching Owen practice hitting with the pitching machine at the park…and stepped off the curb and must have hit the raised edge just right (they haven’t finished repaving yet) in my flip flops and went down. Thankfully I can walk and nothing is broken but I know I’ll be sore for days.

Katie has been begging to do my makeup for awhile now so I finally let her today. She didn’t do too badly and I only had to touch it up a bit. I did have Nude Honey HydraMatte lips at the start but that was like 5 hours ago.

Owen’s baseball stuff is in Tom’s truck BECAUSE OF COURSE IT IS.
I don’t have enough time to go get his stuff and make it back to pick him up from strength training and then get to baseball camp.
Owen doesn’t want to go to baseball camp anyway because his arm hurts.
Oh, and he doesn’t want to go to baseball camp at all anymore because “he knows everything already” — forget that we spent $200 on it.
Tom isn’t answering his texts.
I checked Owen’s summer health class scores and they are not where they should be.
The housekeepers come tomorrow, and I just want to burn the house down.
And the new swipe keyboard I’m testing is a disaster.
Katie had a sleepover last night and they stayed up all night — I last heard them at 2 and then this morning before 6.
Tom said on his way past Katie’s room at 5am, he heard music—the girls were up and had been all night! Soooooo I was not surprised when this happened a little later!

Owen was filling in on our friend Jamie’s team for a game so Tom could just sit and relax instead of coaching…but he just couldn’t take it and was pacing a bit and taking to the other coaches. He finally did manage to sit down once the game started! I liked it it because I got all my baseball questions answered!
