Owen is 4 years 6 months old today!
And here he is, growing up right before your eyes, in under three minutes. What’s amazing is that he barely changes from month to month, but all of a sudden he’s four years old.

Some days the photo session goes well. Other days—like today—not so much. She was just NOT having it and refused to sit still. Then when she was sitting still, I was getting the stink eye. This was the best of the bunch.
Since the pickings were SO slim, I actually decided to try again after her nap. Of course the outfit was different because she had breakfast all over the first one. Her jammies were the second best outfit that matched the sticker. 🙂
Owen is 4 years 3 months old today!
Thankfully we’re past the “I refuse to sit still for a photo” age and now he does exactly what I tell him and it’s over in a minute. 🙂

Katie is 9 months old today!
She’s SUCH a good girl—I took three pictures and all of them were good! This is the first one I took (and the best of the best)! (And the outfit is from Grannie Lin!)

Owen is 4 years 2 months old today!
I didn’t realize until April 10—when I was getting ready to take Katie’s 9m photo—that I had completely forgotten Owen’s April photo! The first time I’ve ever forgotten! Turns out it somehow got deleted off my calendar so I didn’t get the reminder! BUT! Luckily I had taken some photos that day and one would work just fine! It’s a duplicate that I already posted…but that’s life.
Katie is 8 months old!
Owen is 4 years 1 month old today!
I debated discontinuing this tradition…but just couldn’t do it. 🙂 But, I think this is the first picture we’ve had with a hat on!

We were out of town (for the first time ever on a birthday-month photo day!) so Papa had to take the picture! He had just about as much luck as I do—there were about 30 attempts! 🙂
And apparently Owen had a good time with Katie, too!

I was expecting a tantrum or lots of whining this morning when I asked to take Owen’s picture…but he was REALLY REALLY good for me—all smiles as I had to keep retaking them because his eyes were closed or he had a really funny face.
Unfortuately, I didn’t get a GREAT picture…and I thought I’d take more later in the day…but he didn’t feel well so we went with what we had.
