This leg Bella stopped crying but Charlie started. Ay yay yay. At least it was lunch time so we got more time to stretch out. I forgot a picnic blanket so we just grabbed Owen’s comforter which was on top of a pile. 🙂
The kids were thrilled because they fit their McDonald’s happy meals.
…and where we wish we could be. We still have at least another hour of work. [Note: we ended up working until about 11:30. There’s airways so much more to be done then you think.]
I was trying to take a picture of the comforter to list on a yardsale site when this happened.
Then I was helping Owen with his homework and Katie took our picture.
I came up to the bedroom for a few minutes of alone time before the craziness of today’s party starts and this is what happened.
We sold our couch and are currently using chairs. We have lots of pillows so they tend to get stacked up…

This is what happened as soon as I sat down today after the craziness of my launch party.
While Charlie may appear to be fighting it, she’s purring like crazy. She really loves Katie.
And then after the sun wiped her out:
That’s what Katie said when we asked her to get up but this was happening. This dog has become a major lap whore—she literally follows you around and waits until you sit in this chair. She sat next to me at the computer this morning until I got up and moved to my chair.
Charlie only lasted about two minutes being pulled around, but that was longer than I predicted!
It was a bit chilly but the sun felt nice.
