Lots of Olive today!

She SHOULD feel as guilty as she looks this morning…she barked from 2-3am (even after Tom took her out, where she did nothing). Stinker.

Trying to take a work pic and caught her mid-yawn!

Don’t all dogs chew their too-big bully sticks sitting on their personal staircase with their hind legs crossed?

Olive is an escape artist.

Today I came back from the movie and lunch…and she was on the couch (and I had to clean up accidents). We thought it was a random thing but no, when we came back from gymnastics, she was out again.

So tonight at bedtime Tom clamped the blanket over the top of her crate area. Katie happened to go down to get water and…she was out again. Gahhhhhhhh. So Tom put more clamps on for the night and we get to figure out a better/less ghetto solution going forward.

Olive, Day 14

For the moment, life is perfect. I’m in my egg chair. The weather is 75° with low humidity and it’s shady. Olive has stopped biting my toes and is cuddly. Any bets on how long this will last?

Approximately 32 seconds.

Exploring the deck!

Playing with Honey’s ball!

Playing in the grass! Well, chewing on something in the grass.

Now she’ll suddenly appear behind you!

Mom, I know you get super frustrated with me when I constantly bite your feet (and no one else’s) so I’m gonna fall asleep on you so you still love me.

And another nap…

We taught her to use the stairs today. But she liked chewing on them too much so they got put away!

Olive, Day 12

Good morning, Olive! We put a Blink camera on her so we could see when she got up and started moving…and crying. She got up shortly after this to potty and then went back to bed for a bit.

She loves her snuffle mat! We toss food bits in it and she finds them!

And hiding under the ottoman.

And of course napping. (And getting used to a harness.) She’ll actually walk in on her own when she’s tired!

And she loves laying in the sun.

And sleep in weird positions.
