It took a few days but now there’s someone in it most of the day (Maggie is also a fan; Bells rarely comes downstairs).

Of course, 10 seconds after I snapped this, Katie did something to annoy Charlie and got swatted and there were tears and crying and drama.
Charlie was very patient!
Katie kept putting the bunny ears on repeatedly for a good 5-10 minutes—Tom and I were AMAZED she just laid there! She did eventually run off, but she stayed far longer than we thought she would!
It was empty less than two minutes.

Cats are weird.
This is literally the only thing on the floor and she HAS to lay on it.
Charlie is getting old.
She doesn’t want to move when I need to change Katie’s diaper. She used to, but not anymore.
I literally had to push Charlie out of the way in order to have room to lay Katie down. If you look closely, you can see Charlie’s tail poking out at Katie’s waist.

Unexpected eyes
Needless to say I was not expecting to see eyes when I looked down there and it scared the bajeebers out of me.
Fine, I’ll do it myself!
After attempting to find scarves for the kids yesterday and failing completely (because even though it’s still the middle of winter and it’s been amazingly cold, the stores only have summer stuff out), I headed to Joann fabrics today to buy my own fleece.
Done! Five 50″ scarves and four 60″ scarves from $5 worth of fleece (60% off blanket sets plus another $5 off with my coupon). They aren’t perfect but they’ll work!
I love my lap warmers.
