Dah, Duh, Fraw, Pih, and Ahn!

http://www.wordworld.com

Owen has loved WordWorld for quite some time. Recently, however, he has been saying some of the character names when they come on screen, and it’s soooo cute. Dog was first (Dah), then Duck (Duh), and now Frog (Fraw). On a sidenote, he can recognize frogs in other cartoons as well!

So we have some WordWorld books, and this morning I pointed to Pig in a book and asked Owen who it was and he said “Pih” and then I pointed to Ant and he said “Ahn” so he knows them now, too!

ABCs, a monkey, and a pillow ride!

Gramma Jean is saying the alphabet in the background, and once in awhile you can hear Owen say a letter. But moreso, he’s enjoying chewing on his new monkey toy.

Tom and I went out to dinner and much to our surprise, Owen was still up when we got home about 9pm! He just was NOT tired! After some playing, he got a special pillow ride from daddy…

Burpie Naptime Hysteria

We thought Owen was tired enough for his afternoon nap. We watched him on the monitor, and he kept rolling around and playing with his burpies—tossing them around in his crib and laughing and shrieking. Mom and I were having a ball watching and listening to him on the monitor.

After about 20 minutes, mom went up to check on him to see if he wanted to come out…and he didn’t. He wanted to keep playing! So then I was watching and listening to BOTH of them on the monitor—and also hearing them down the hallway—and I couldn’t stand it and had to go up myself and take the camera!

Please forgive the bad quality in the first video segment—the camera lens was a little dirty from SOMEONE (cough, Owen, cough) carrying it around and chewing on it. 🙂
