This is what I found this morning—she had her jammies unzipped and her diaper 95% off without having her legs out.

Her first Tommy Hilfiger!
No loafers for Owen.
I really would like Owen to have a pair of nice shoes. I’m not talking uncomfortable dress shoes here—just a pair of loafers for outfits that don’t really look good with Crocs or tennis shoes. So today at Marshalls I found a totally cute pair of Cole Hahn (!) brown loafers for $16 (!). So tonight I had him try them on—and of course you have to exert just a bit of effort (moreso than tennis shoes or Crocs) to get them on your foot, so he wasn’t used to that (being he really only wears tennis shoes or Crocs!) and OH MY HEAVENS the whining was amazing. And of course his final (final? ha! immediate) verdict was they were too tight. And of course I have no idea if he just doesn’t like them or they really were too tight. I have a feeling he’ll never have loafers—he hasn’t yet, why start now? 😐
You’ve seen the pants, now here’s the dress.
In Owen’s Jams
Someone wanted to wear her brother’s coat.
Fun with Alno and brother
Peace!
Katie’s first time-out.
No, she didn’t do anything terribly wrong, but I figure she’s gotta start learning sooner or later…so when she didn’t do something simple I asked her (after I counted—and she understands the counting!) she got a time out. She was a little perplexed.
Also note her new (hand-me-down) Elmo slippers! She LOVES them and didn’t even try to take them off!
Someone has a tail!
I just HAD to do this for today for Tom!
Love Beson hand-me-downs!
Cute in PJs
Santa Owen
Sporty girl! With a bear! And a flower!
This is what I walked in to see this morning.
Reindeer feets.
A Santa hat this time…
The bear again…and hat fun.
Phone Fun and a New Outfit
Dress and jeans–why not?
She wears the pants.

Owen’s New Jams
Preppy Owen with the new shirt and hair gel.
Kinda Christmas-y
Gramma’s Little Lobsters
Gramma Jean brought back lobster t-shirts from Maine for the kids! It was warm enough this morning that they could wear them! Katie wasn’t being terribly cooperative so she’s looking away in all the pics where Owen was looking at me…and vice versa…or the pic turned out blurry. Oh well. I can’t always get a perfect shot!
MSU Kids
I didn’t even plan ahead to dress them for game day. Kind of. I went to get Katie dressed and her MSU outfit was on the top of the stack in the dresser. And it was at that point that I realized it was a game day and put Owen in his jersey as well.
This pic didn’t turn out too bad.
And these next two just make me laugh out loud. Owen gets the craziest faces when I tell him to smile.
Ahhh, that’s better.
Well, not that.
Sister can do it.
And then THE shot. Perfect.
And then outside after the farmer’s market.
New dress, new tights, new boots!
The good part about buying kids shoes ahead of time? You can get good sale prices. (It was still a crazy price for kids shoes, but they were $10 off and SOOOOO cute.)
The bad part about buying kids shoes ahead of time? You are only guessing at the sizes and by the time the season is right to wear them, they could already be outgrown.
At least these still fit, but they are a bit tighter than I’d hoped for (they are a 6.5 and I think she’s almost at the limit of her size 6s).
So, since she was wearing boots, that required tights—her FIRST tights, in fact! She didn’t think twice about them and didn’t try to remove them at all! And then it was picking a dress which she might not fit in when it gets to be warm again—a size 18m. But first, we tried shoes because I thought I might be able to exchange the boots for a bigger size (at Amazon) but they are out of stock.
When Owen saw her, he said “Katie! You are so adorable!” 🙂
