Maybe a new Christmas tradition?

Do y’all know what this is?! I made it for Katie for Christmas!!

I honestly don’t know what the official name for it is, but I’ve been calling it a Saran ball. It’s just a bunch of tiny gifts all rolled up inside a crap ton of cling wrap. I figured she’d have more fun unwrapping this monstrosity than a few little packages of hair clips, mini nail polishes, fidget popits, and hair ties.

I was just going to make one for her…but I had so much fun doing it that I am now going to make one for Owen, too—though his might be heavier on the candy and lighter on the hair accessories!

And I think we’re going to do one for all four kids…make it into a game. Apparently people are supposed to unwrap with oven mitts while someone tries to roll doubles—and they get to keep everything they unwrap during that time! We shall see!

The moral of the story? Don’t be afraid to try.

This was a week ago. I’m behind. /shrug

Well, y’all. I tried it. I give myself a B-.

I’ll have to go back and watch her video—I just looked at the photos. I thought I did better until I actually did a side-by-side. And I know I didn’t even attempt the wing because that would have been a recipe for disaster! BUT! It’s still a million miles ahead of where I used to be and what I was able to do. And this took just 14 minutes which isn’t bad at all!!

So…I gave myself a B- because it didn’t really turn out the same as the original/comparison look. But if you don’t compare it to anything and just judge on its own merit? I’d give myself an A for sure.

Lesson learned? DON’T FALL INTO THE COMPARISON TRAP!

I am not a pink person.

I rarely wear pink. Pink clothes don’t jump out at me. I never pick pink as a color for anything.

And pink shadows were included in that.

Until I started wearing SeneGence ShadowSense. And now I want ALLLLL the pinks. Especially if they are shimmery. 💗

That’s one of the many things I love about my little “side gig” — it has caused me to expand my horizons in so many different ways.

This is me rolling out of bed at 9:47am.

I’ve been up — and working — since about 8:30 so I’m not a TOTAL slacker. But I just want to show you a “naked” face pic so you can see what my skin actually looks like without makeup. I swear it looks like I have a filter on but I don’t. Pinky promise.

If you wish and dream for better skin, I’m your girl. You can shop day or night here!

An early Christmas present!

So we got an early Christmas present for us…an Ooni pizza oven (we’d casually talked about it before but then after talking with Jim and Beth over Thanksgiving, our interest was renewed).

Tonight was the inaugural dinner with David and Anna (and kids) as guinea pigs. Initial setup was on the deck but torrential rain moved it to the garage.

Unpacking and setting up immediately upon delivery!
Tom made all the dough 24 hours in advance so they were ready for dinner!
About 90 seconds and it’s done!
First pizza a success!
My pizza with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, Italian sausage, and basil.

And it was absolutely amazing! I foresee a lot of pizza in our future…

I was #3 in sales out of thousands!

So I’m gonna toot my own horn for a hot second.

This past November turned out to be my best month ever since I started this “side gig” almost five years ago…and I made the Top 5 leaderboard out of thousands of people in my group!

Technically I didn’t have that amount of sales — they can only see what I purchased — but that’s how they track things. But it was still my highest sales month ever, coming in at $9,272! (My previous highest month was April of this year during my SeneVersary month with $8,114.)

I can’t thank my amazing clients enough as they’re the ones who helped me get here—but I’m obviously doing something right since they keep coming back! I never thought I’d be doing this but here we are!

This feels more daunting this year.

For the most part I have always replaced regular decorations with holiday—like normal everyday things on shelves/walls got replaced with wrapped boxes/kids artwork. Candles and candlesticks got put away and replaced with reindeer and small trees.

But this year I’m rethinking.

Maybe it’s because we JUST finished redecorating the living room (and there’s lots more stuff now).

Or maybe it’s because we’ve only had one Christmas here and I just don’t have a set place for everything.

Or maybe it’s just because I’m exhausted.

Or maybe it’s because I forgot I bought a lot of clearance stuff last year.

Or maybe it’s because I usually end up doing 85% of it by myself…
