Well, and watch these two be cute.

Well, and watch these two be cute.
Katie has an official old school snow day since teachers didn’t send home Chromebooks at all the schools. Owen has a late-start eLearning day.
Today doesn’t look much different for me, though…I’ll be finishing book 8 soon!
And it’s a wee bit chilly—there is ice in our microwave!
We loved Whose Line is it Anyway? so when we had a chance to see Colin locally, we jumped at it—and it was indeed hilarious!
The cheer team was invited to cheer at halftime of the women’s CLC game! They did a good job!
We love the show Big Mouth so when I saw this personalized artwork on Etsy I had to get it. So we all now have a framed copy.
Anna has gotten really good at crocheting and gave me this for Christmas!
And then nappies.
I did a monthly book bracket—which was hard because some months had more than one great book!
That said, my top 12 bracket books of the year were:
And the winning bracket book of my year is Under the Whispering Door.
Other books I’d highly recommend:
•Beartown (series)
•Project Hail Mary
•Midnight Library
•The Rose Code
•The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches
•Undercover Bromance (series)
•Remarkably Bright Creatures
•The Authenticity Project
•Gone Girl
•Drowning
•In an Instant
•Finley Donovan series
•Thursday Murder Club (series)
•Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice
•I Will Always Write Back
•The Wild Robot
•None of This is True
Since we missed going to Grayling for Christmas since Katie had Covid, we surprised them in Lansing for the Schwalm Christmas! We decided at about 10am that we could make it…and walked in to Beth and Jim’s as they were finishing dinner! SURPRISE!
From Drunk on the Job The Misadventures of a Drunk in Paradise: Book #4
This sounded good so I’m saving it here!
Katie tested positive for Covid (her second time!)—she even took two tests. I blame the cesspool of middle school. Tom and I are as boosted as we can be so fingers crossed we don’t get it.
She was super upset and crying when we got the results—she really wanted to go to Gramma’s house. I’m just glad we decided to test her at all because we thought it was just a cold.
And stayed there napping for quite some time. Dogs are weird.
