Promotion to 1st Lieutenant

Today marked the two-year anniversary of Tom becoming a USMC Officer. It is customary at this time to be promoted from 2nd Lieutenant to the rank of 1st Lieutenant. This ceremony took place at Camp Lejeune on 11 Aug 03 at 1000 hours with Colonel Smith presiding.
