Owen helped Katie get ready for battle with a helmet (his bike helmet), a sword (pipe insulation), and shield (a push-up grip). The tutu was all Katie.

Superhero Owen
Grauntie Marge got Owen a superhero cape and mask (that also come with a book) for our belated Len Christmas and he wanted to wear it this morning!

Owen went to Home Depot with Tom, picked up the lightbulb, put it over his head, and said “I have an idea!” 🙂

Slush Fun
The sun was out and everything was melting so today was slush fun instead of snow fun. We went out during Katie’s nap because she would have just gotten completely soaked and/or muddy. It was actually so warm in the sun that I took off my sweatshirt and just hung out in a tank top!
Owen was telling me an imaginative story. At this point I think he was reenacting Spiderman.

He’s been into parades lately. Sometimes they’re in a long line like this one…and other times they’re eight abreast. 🙂

They make just as good bumps as anything else. (They’re not real—they’re felt.) And the cats’ jingle balls are a noisy addition, too!
