After his nap, Owen kept saying “Park park park” (though it sounds more like pawk or puck) so I took that to mean he wanted to go to the park. He didn’t want his snack. So we went, and he had a great time running around for about 20 minutes, then he came over to me and said “home…snack”—the first time he’s ever really asked for something like that (aside from the park earlier). I know it’s not much, but it’s a start…and I love it.
