As you may or may not know, I love lilacs—and for the past five years in NC we never saw any. But in Michigan? They are ALL over and they are now in bloom.
Of course, we don’t have any in our yard…so I keep seeing them all over the place and keep wishing I could go steal some from somewhere. I keep trying to remind myself to throw some scissors in the car so I could make a quick cut and run getaway…but I never get to it.
So what happened this morning?
Hubby came back from the gym…and brought me a huge vase of purple and white lilacs!!!!! So now I have the lovely scent of lilacs wafting through the house!
