So since it’s been getting quite chilly at night, we finally put our heated mattress pad back on the bed. However, instead of putting it on normally—where the plug is at the bottom of the bed—we reversed it so that we could keep all the cords at the head of the bed so they would be hidden from view.
So last night when we went to bed, Tom was cold so he turned his side on. Fast forward to the middle of the night when I woke up feeling a little warm. That sometimes happens to me when I wake up suddenly, so didn’t think much about it. A while later, I was STILL warm and threw the covers partially off. I could not figure out why I was so warm.
Well, it wasn’t until about 5am that I realized—DUH!—we had flipped the cover, so Tom’s controls worked MY side of the bed (and vice versa)! No wonder I was so warm!!!
In the morning, we had a good laugh when I informed him what had happened. His first words? “No wonder I was freezing all night! I could NOT get warm!”
Funny! I thought only old people did things like that!
Hey, I’m noticing that my text is all visable in this little box. It used to go outside the box and I couldn’t see my whole statement. You must have figured out how to fix it!
Nope, I haven’t changed anything…no idea why it’s working now! 🙂
