My Pumpkin

2005 pumpkin

Since my poor pumpkin was left until almost the last possible minute this year (I normally have it done days, if not a week, in advance) I wanted to do something simple. As it was, I still screwed up the feet (if you look closely, he only has one foot)—the paper moved while I was poking my dots through the pattern! I probably could have done it free hand, but like I said, I wanted it to be simple!! I’d probably still be down there if I was doing it free hand…and I’d probably be crying from frustration. Tom lucked out and wasn’t here to help (he’s not much into the pumpkin-carving) but I think he would have rather been here at home than on duty! At least he’ll be around to help me pass out treats tomorrow night! I can’t wait to see how many kids we get…we’re in a fairly big neighborhood, so I’m expecting quite a few.
