It really hasn’t done anything here all day other than rain and blow. It is getting windier, though—as evidenced by the fact we had to finally shut the few windows that were open. We just turned the news on and apparently there’s water on some roads around us (the two main arteries to town, plus our local road)—although they didn’t go so far as to say flooding (I think it was “ponding”). I’m sure the weather is worse along the coast, but for us, it’s no worse than a normal storm. (The OBX has flooding and power outages, but they are RIGHT on the coast.)
Tom already knows he doesn’t have to go to work tomorrow (it was on the Camp Lejeune website) but I have no idea. I think they have a phone tree, but I have no idea where I am on it or when they would make the call. So, as far as I know, I’m going to work tomorrow.
