The painting is neverending. I mean, I knew there would be a lot, since we bought about 13 gallons for the whole house (and that wasn’t even painting all the rooms), but even though we keep painting, we don’t seem to be getting anywhere!
I painted the office the first weekend we moved in.
This past week and weekend we finished the bedroom (four colors—I love it!) and the sitting room…about 12 hours worth total, including taping. I am so sore today! Sitting and standing are okay, but the getting up is the hard part! My knees are also very sore…kneeling for 4 hours on berber carpet really gets to you.
Rooms left to paint: Kitchen, Dining Room, Half Bath, Master Bath, Guest Bath, and Living Room.
But the hard work is worth it—everything looks great so far and it’s much more homey and inviting now with color… I just can’t wait to get all the rooms done!!
